Read the label properly
Classic numeric ART numbers from 1990 through A/W 2024, including mainline, Denims, Junior, Shadow Project and documented special ranges.
The Moncler-aligned alphanumeric system beginning with K1S for S/S 2025, with K2S, L1S and L2S handled separately from legacy codes.
Sportswear Company-era numeric references, transitional year-and-season codes, and the current CM/CK/CW format with its own season counter.
Matching current and sold Dans Designer listings are loaded automatically. Repeated colourways remain visible because they are useful evidence for the same style.
ART structures are community-documented reference systems. A plausible code can be copied onto a counterfeit, while unusual genuine pieces can sit outside the usual pattern. Use the result to identify what an item should be—not to decide whether the physical garment is genuine.
Stone Island authentication information ↗Useful before you check
Usually on the internal care label or the original swing tag. It may be introduced by “ART.” and can be followed by a separate fabric or colour reference. On some older pieces it appears on a separate label.
The core style reference can be shared across colourways, sizes and repeated examples of the same model. Dans Designer keeps sold listings visible, so the archive may contain several genuine records of one style.
Some special projects, very early pieces and internal fabric or treatment codes are not publicly documented. The checker deliberately leaves those fields unresolved instead of filling the gap with a guess.
An ART number identifies a product family, season or category. A CLG number is a Certilogo authentication code. Do not post a private CLG code publicly or enter it into an ART checker.
